TECH, the global tire & wheel authority, recently held its annual Distributor Expo themed “Over The Top” at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center. Distributors from across the Americas attended, spanning from Canada and Brazil and all points in between.
This year’s Expo featured a host of new TECH products, including a complete line of aerosol shop chemicals and a new line of TECH-tested and TECH-approved brushes used to prepare the tire for repair. TECH’s new “Black Tire Paste” received rave reviews for its ease of application, lubricity and overall performance.
As TECH invests in new branding, distributors were invited to participate in discussions about new product packaging in the field with the TRC branding team. The show floor featured a full size 18ft TECH box truck, which unveiled the new vehicle graphics program. The TECH vehicle graphics were an instant hit, as numerous distributors requested the graphic package.
TECH showcased its recently introduced Hybrid 2.0 TPMS sensor. TECH’s TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) booth was alive with activity as shops are seeking a single SKU sensor and programmer solution. According to Mike BeVier, TECH National Field Sales Manager, “This Expo is critical to our distribution network. We provide not only a vast assortment of new products, but also our tried and true TECH products. Equally important is the critical product and industry training we provide.”
TECH conducted two days of training curriculum ranging from an in-depth TPMS workshop to critical business processes designed to help distributors run a successful business. Each session was not only well attended, but the curriculum feedback was extremely positive.
A highlight of the TECH Expo is the Awards Night hosted on Friday night. According to TECH Vice President of Sales, Lou Calabrese, “It is so enjoyable to recognize TECH’s top performers, not only our Distributors but also our Territory Managers. Everyone works hard all year, and this is our night to shine as we recognize the accomplishments of their hard work.”
TECH’s 2020 Expo will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Sheraton Conference Center and is guaranteed to be chocked full of new products, more training and awards. To learn more about TECH and other brands in the TRC portfolio visit TRC4r.com.
