Replacing valves and service kits on TPMS sensors is a critical step in proper TPMS service. Even if the sensor is in good working condition, replacing the valve or service kit can help to prevent valve leaks.
If the TPMS sensor has a replaceable valve, the valve should be replaced every time the tire is serviced. If the valve is not replaceable, use the correct service pack to replace the rubber grommet, hex nut, valve core and cap.
