Now that a lot of schools are back in session, school buses are back on the road, so we want to reiterate the importance of keeping your tires are in good condition to keep everyone safe.

One way to properly maintain your tires is to monitor the pressure of your tires, even if you have a monitoring system.

Having proper pressure in your tires maximizes the contact patch of the tire with the road, which helps reduce the amount of stopping distance needed.

As a bonus, proper tire pressure also helps to maximize the fuel economy in your vehicle.

In addition to making sure your tires are properly inflated, it’s also a great time to check your tire depth. Tires with 2/32” or less tread depth should be replaced.
