TECH’s comprehensive training curriculum combines both classroom and hands on training in our Global state of the art Training Center. Training and Certification courses were developed in collaboration with major tire manufacturers and the Tire Industry Association (TIA).

Automotive Tire Service (TIA Led Course) Level 400

A four-day seminar designed specifically for automotive technicians with a focus on passenger tire service. Course includes Tire Industry Association (TIA) Advanced ATS Program which meets required documented training for new and experienced automotive repair technicians. Technicians who successfully complete the course receive an Automotive Tire Service Advanced Instructor Certificate from the TIA and a TECH Authorized Nail-hole Repair Technician certificate.

Commercial Tire Service (TIA Led Course) Level 400

This 400-Level course covers tire construction, inspection and basic repair of commercial truck tires. The course includes both TIA CTS requirements and OHSA Regulation 29CFR Part 1910.177 for servicing single and multi-piece wheels. Technicians who successfully complete the course receive TIA Certified CTS Technician certificate and TECH’s Authorized Nailhole Repair Technician Certificate.

Truck Section Repair Seminar

This three-day class covers puncture and section repairs on medium truck tires. The course also covers the latest procedures for repairing inner liner blisters and self-sealing tires. Classroom theory will also include information on tire construction and inspection. All students are required to complete hands-on demonstrations and a written exam. Technicians who successfully complete the course will receive Tech’s Authorized Section Repair Technician certificate.

Off The Road (OTR) Section Repair

This three-day course provides training in the latest techniques used in the section repair of bias and radial off the road tires. It also covers OTR tire construction, tire storage requirements and tire inspection techniques. Course requires completion of hands on section repair and written exam. Technicians who successfully complete the course receive TECH’s Authorized OTR Repair certificate and arm patch.

Automotive Tire Service (TIA Course) Level 300

A two-day seminar designed specifically for automotive technicians with a focus on passenger tire service.
