Pelotonia is a community determined to see an end to cancer. The organization’s key fundraising event each year, “THE RIDE,” is a weekend-long event where fundraising teams, like Team TECH, challenge their stamina in bicycle rides ranging from 20 – 200 miles!
One of the key differences with Pelotonia and other fundraising event is that 100% of all participant-raised funds go directly to OSUCCC-James Cancer Research Center.
Even though The Ride was canceled last year due to Covid-19, Team TECH held its own event which managed to raise over $6,000 for Pelotonia. This year, The Ride is back with a lot of special safety protocols to keep riders socially distanced and safe on the course.
Pelotonia is scheduled for August 6th through the 8th, and Team TECH 2021 is coming together. This year, we hope to smash previous participation and fundraising efforts.
